Few years ago, I was waiting for my train to go back home from Paris. I was bored and didn't knew what to draw so I started looking around me. I started looking to the people on the other side of the plateform, also waiting for a train and lost in their thougths... I found it really fun to look at their manner, the way they were dressed, the fact that they were hundreds in the same place doing the same thing but totally disconnected from one another. I started to draw everyone of them in a small sketchbook, every drawing next to the other. And it finally looked like if it was a wallpaper-of-small-people. Once I've had finish my first sketchbook, I started another, and another, experimenting with people, interaction between each drawing and composition. It's like if I was exploring the crowd threw my sketchbooks.
